This page explains what happens to information sent through this website. It is short because the site does very little.

What the enquiry form collects

Your name, email address, firm or practice, province, the matter type you selected, and whatever you write in the notes field. Nothing else. There is no account, no login and no tracking of what you read before you wrote to us.

What we do with it

We use it to answer you: to send the rate card and a writing sample suited to what you described, and to continue that conversation if you want one. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone. We do not add you to a mailing list.

Do not send client information here

The enquiry form is not a secure channel and is not for file material. Please do not put a client's name, identifying details or case facts into it. Once an engagement begins, everything moves through zero-knowledge encrypted transfer on Canadian infrastructure, and that is the only route client material ever takes.

Where it is kept and for how long

Form submissions are held by our hosting provider and in our email. We keep enquiries while a conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, and delete them when they no longer serve a purpose. Ask us to delete yours at any time and we will.

Analytics and cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising or analytics scripts. Typefaces are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser requests them from Google when the page loads.

Asking us anything about this

Write to inquiries@secondchairdrafting.ca. You may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
